The public sector specialist said it expected to see a 10 per cent growth in Logica's cloud revenue over the next year, courtesy of the deal with MS.
It will offer clients Microsoft cloud services such as its Azure platform, Hyper-V virtualisation tech and the recently re-birthed Office 365.
As part of the agreement, Logica will pimp itself out to Microsoft in a wave of cloud-based marketing and ads. The outsourcer, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, will in turn get early access to Microsoft's cloudy tech.
“We have partnered with Microsoft because of their industry leading approach to cloud and we share a common desire to deliver business benefits to customers,” said Logica boss Andy Green.
It's unsurprising to see Logica effectively extend its love-in with Microsoft, given that it already uses the company's Dynamics ERP and CRM tools. ®
