Op seekingalpha maakte iemand deze opmerking tegen Wiesje:

Dat is het gekke van deze tijd. Er stroomt gewoon veel geld naar nieuwe tech. Kijk wat Uber uit het niets allemaal ophaalt aan miljarden waarmee ze gewoon 'echte' bedrijven (van substantie) kunnen kopen.

wat aan de late kant maar een AB van mij bdb.......... je somt een aantal voorbeelden op van voorkennis vanuit een onuitputtelijke bron................ het bereiken van een level playing field was ooit belangrijk voor een eens zo mooie organisatie waar ECHT is gepoogd de kennisachterstand van de particuliere belegger te verkleinen. Allemaal vervlogen.....wil niet pessimistich of gefrustreerd overkomen want ik ben van nature een optimist..... Wat is er in nederlland gaande? de "grote jongens en meisjes" worden met rust gelaten............. wij , de belastingbetalers, hebben de grootbanken moeten redden........ de banken vertikken het om door ECB verstrekte sommen geld in dezelfde belastingbetalers te investeren....... en, en dat stoort me minimaal zoveel, het wordt normaal gevonden, laten we zeggen iig geaccepteerd, dat de door "ons geredde" banken reclame maken........... Pas reclame maken als de staatssteun volledig en met rente is terugbetaald!!!!! Anderzijds wel een aantal mensen van dit forum op gesprek laten komen ........... Den werled op zijn kop!

Zo dat wilde ik even kwijt kan nog uren doorgaan, wees gerust dat doe ik niet;). 1 tje dan om het af te leren........... Waarom is het nederlandse clubvoetbal geheel naar de k..... geholpen? Dat hebben we helemaal zelf gedaan ..........Spaanse clubs, bijvoorbeeld real en barca hebben miljarden schuld...... hoe kan dat? spaanse banken staan garant o.a........ en wie redt de spaanse banken..... de ECB.... wie is per hoofd van de bevolking europa,s grootste financier..... na of gelijk geeindigd met duitsland... (dat iig nog wat te zeggen heeft binnen Europa).......... NEDERLAND! Wij zorgen er eigenlijk zelf voor dat ons clubvoetbal niets meer voorstelt.....we sponsoren onze eigen ondergang...... Beetje "off topic" wellicht maar het geeft wel aan dat er nog veel te verbeteren valt.

Ik wens alle "longs" een prachtige TT beursmaand......... kom maar op met dat bod op here.........niet zozeer voor het bod zelf maar meer voor de adviesvehogingen/koersdoelverhogingen die dit ongetwijfeld tot gevolg heeft.

echt grappig dit :-) Waarom sluit je geen 2e hypotheek af op je huis en koop je er TT voor als je zo zeker bent, hoe je nooit meer te werken. Moet je wel 2022 halen.

Kan het nu even niet meer vinden, maar volgens mij komt die TRUCKER 6000 bij Consumer vandaan terwijl Telematics tot vandaag de engie was met deze functionaliteit (in de vorm van de PRO apparaten). Functionaliteit lijkt exact hetzelfde voor de rest en de PRO ligt gewoon overal te koop. Hoe kan dit gezien worden? Interne concurrentie? Bredere totale doelgroep? Gevolg van de separate BVs zoals hier vorig jaar werd gemeld? Combinatie? Waarom nu?

TomTom announces publicly available test map data for Highly Automated Driving in Metro Detroit

~ Car makers can now conduct HAD application testing within miles of their R&D facilities ~

Detroit, Michigan, 3 June 2015 – TomTom (TOM2) today announces the availability of Highly Automated Driving (HAD) map content in the metro Detroit area. Car makers and HAD-related companies can now use TomTom’s high-definition maps for precise vehicle positioning, enabling future self-driving cars to see beyond their sensors.

“By making high-definition map content readily available, we can make HAD a reality faster, enabling further innovation in Detroit, the heart of the North American automotive industry,” said Alain De Taeye, Member of the TomTom Management Board. “Intense demand for high-definition maps is fueled by automated driving as a new growth driver. As an independent supplier with one of the world’s most sophisticated mapping platform, we are in a unique position to provide highly precise map content for all members of the HAD ecosystem.”

TomTom continues to pioneer leading technologies that will allow the emergence of automated cars. At CES 2015, the Audi A7 piloted driving concept ‘Jack’, featuring TomTom HAD prototype maps successfully completed the long-distance test drive, over 560 miles from San Francisco to Las Vegas.

At TU-Automotive Detroit, on June 4th at 9.30 am EST, Alain De Taeye will unveil more details during his keynote ‘Real-Time Maps Transform the Location Experience’. The HAD map, covering the stretch of road network between Farmington Hills and Ann Arbor, including I-696, 96, and 275, US-23 and M-14, will be available in June.

TomTom announces new technology milestone towards real-time maps

~ The world’s first NDS-powered navigation portal is now live ~

Detroit, Michigan, 3 June 2015 – TomTom (TOM2) has today launched the world’s first NDS* powered navigation portal giving users access to fresher maps. This portal called “MyDrive” can be used to plan trips in advance, view the Traffic situation on the road and manage favorites – thus providing a seamless experience to end-users across their entire journey.

MyDrive uses TomTom Traffic, TomTom navigation software and TomTom global maps in NDS format, the innovative worldwide automotive map standard. This is another important milestone to realising real-time maps, a crucial component to enabling Highly Automated Driving cars in the future.

“We are on track with our ambition to become the leading provider of technologies for automated driving,” said Jan-Maarten De Vries, VP Product Management, TomTom Automotive, “The launch of our MyDrive portal is another important step to fuel the inevitable spread of ADAS** which will later evolve into Highly Automated Driving”.
