Alycho NV is na de kapitaaalverhoging van eind 2016 onder de 3% drempel gezakt. Wij hebben geen kennis van transacties die hen opnieuw boven deze drempel zouden hebben gebracht.

Wordt verdomme eens tijd dat de koers brokken maakt (in noordelijke richting uiteraard...).

Al die rode koersen de laatste tijd, ik word er zowaar lichtjes depressief van!

Maar goed, de zon schijnt en het is bijna vakantie, succes allemaal!

Klopt inderdaad , heb een autorijschool in het oosten vh land ....
En als hobby / oudedagvoorziening volg ik de beurs , want rente op de bank is ook drie keer niks ....
En ik geloof ook wel in dit aandeel ...

IRVINE, CA, and HERSTAL, BELGIUM - 07:00 CEST, June 19, 2017 - MDxHealth SA (Euronext: MDXH.BR), today announced that it has signed a scientific agreement with QUT bluebox, the commercialization arm of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), to develop a liquid biopsy epigenetic assay for the early detection of oral cancer.

Oral cancer has a significant global incidence with approximately over 20,000 cases diagnosed annually in the US alone. Early detection is key to survival, but noticeable symptoms appear at a more advanced stage when there is a less favorable prognosis. Currently, there are no US screening guidelines for head and neck cancers or proven blood or saliva-based diagnostic tests.

"Our test is expected to facilitate much earlier detection of oral cancer and potentially precancerous lesions by a variety of specialties including general practioners, oncologists and dentists," said Associate Prof. Dr. Chamindie Punyadeera from QUT's School of Biomedical Sciences and Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI), lead investigator on this project. "After collecting a saliva swab, samples will be sent to a lab or tested on site to determine if a patient requires clinical follow up."

The test evaluates abnormal DNA methylation changes which is an early event seen in tumor progression. Methylation of DNA is one way that cells regulate gene activity and abnormal methylation indicates a patient may have a higher risk of developing cancer.

"A simple and fast point of care test could help dentists to rule-out oral cancer while you have your dental checkup," said Dr. Jan Groen, CEO of MDxHealth. "This scientific collaboration is an opportunity for both MDxHealth and QUT to leverage existing know-how to develop a ground-breaking oral cancer test that will improve overall survival for thousands of patients."

Under the terms of the agreement, MDxHealth will collaborate with QUT to evaluate and develop the test and MDxHealth will have the first option to license the commercial diagnostics rights. Proceeds will be used to support MDxHealth's R&D pipeline for diagnostics in urologic cancers and to support further research and translational activities at QUT and IHBI.

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) MDxHealth heeft een overeenkomst getekend met QUT bluebox voor de ontwikkeling van een vloeibare biopsie eugenetische test om vroegtijdig mondkanker te kunnen ontdekken. Dit maakte het Belgische biotechbedrijf maandag voorbeurs bekend zonder financiële details te geven.
"Onze test verzorgt vermoedelijk een veel eerdere ontdekking van mondkanker", zei professor Chamindie Punyadeera van QUT. Volgens CEO Jan Groen van MDxHealth kan een test "simpel en snel" worden gedaan tijdens een routinecontrole bij de tandarts.
MDxHealth heeft het eerste recht om een licentie te nemen op de commerciële rechten van de test.
Het aandeel MDxHealth sloot vrijdag 0,2 procent lager op 5,01 euro

Het Waals-Amerikaanse biotechbedrijf MDxHealth MDXH -0,04% gaat samenwerken met de Queensland University of Technology (QUT) om een speekseltest te ontwikkelen die in een vroeg stadium allerhande mondkankers kan detecteren.

Jaarlijks worden alleen al in de VS 20.000 orale kankers ontdekt en vroege opsporing is cruciaal om de kans op genezing te vergroten. De speekseltest moet huisdokters, oncologen en tandartsen die iets verdachts opmerken de kans bieden om snel uit te maken of een patiënt nadere opvolging nodig heeft. Volgens Dr. Jan Groen, de CEO van MDxHealth, zou zo'n test zelfs kunnen worden uitgevoerd bij een routinecontrole bij de tandarts.

'Deze wetenschappelijke samenwerking is een opportuniteit voor zowel MDxHealth als QUT om een hefboom te zetten op bestaande knowhow en zo een baanbrekende orale kankertest te ontwikkelen die de overlevingskansen van duizenden patiënten zal verhogen', aldus Groen.
