Mop dat is niet fijn , erg jammer zelfs voor degene die nu erin zijn gestapt .
Ik verwacht nog een flinke daling, kooporder op 13,80 voor kleine portie . En misschien stel ik deze ook bij !
Voor Pasen goed komen lees ik al , hmmm ik verwacht niet veel voor einde 3e kwartaal

Arcelormittal South Africa geeft winstwaarschuwing

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) Arcelormittal South Africa heeft donderdagmiddag gewaarschuwd voor een flink lager resultaat.

Het Zuid-Afrikaanse bedrijf zei dat 2019 het meest uitdagende jaar was voor de mondiale staalindustrie sinds de financiële crisis. Dit maakte dat Arcelormittal South Africa in actie moest komen, wat gevolgen had voor het personeelsbestand, dat met duizenden werd teruggebracht.

Deze maatregelen brengen een “uitzonderlijk hoge” afschrijving met zich mee, zei Arcelormittal South Africa. Details hiervan volgen op 6 februari.

Arcelormittal South Africa waarschuwde donderdag al dat de kernwinst in 2019 ten minste 4,3 miljard rand lager uit zal vallen dan in 2018, toen de winst op 968 miljoen rand uitkwam.

Het aandeel Arcelormittal South Africa daalde op beurs van Johannesburg met ruim 6 procent.

Met deze winstwaarschuwing kwamen wij net onder de 14 uit vandaag op een slotstand van 13,984
Hopelijk trekt dit bericht de koers morgen niet nog verder naar beneden.

The South African subsidiary of ArcelorMittal (MT -2.7%) says its 2019 earnings will come in considerably lower than in 2018 due to "an exceptionally difficult year."

ArcelorMittal South Africa expects FY 2019 headline earnings will decline by at least 4.3B rand ($298M) and fall to a loss, compared with headline earnings of 968M in the previous year.

"The 2019 financial year unexpectedly represented the most challenging year since the global financial crisis for the world steel industry, and an exceptionally difficult year for the South African economy and ArcelorMittal South Africa," the company says.

The South African subsidiary of steelmaker ArcelorMittal (MT.AE) said Thursday that its 2019 earnings will be considerably lower than the previous period due to "an exceptionally difficult year."

ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd. (ACL.JO) said its headline earnings for 2019 will decline by at least 4.3 billion South African rand ($298.3 million) compared with the year earlier and fall to a loss. In 2018, the company reported headline earnings of ZAR968 million.

Attributable profit for the year will decrease by at least ZAR6.1 billion and fall to a loss, the company said, while profit for 2018 was ZAR1.37 billion.

"The 2019 financial year unexpectedly represented the most challenging year since the global financial crisis for the world steel industry, and an exceptionally difficult year for the South African economy and ArcelorMittal South Africa," the company said.

The company's results will be published Feb. 6.
