After surging ahead more than 7% in July, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) appears poised for more of the same in August, with futures on the blue-chip barometer pointing toward an opening jump of more than 100 points. European and Asian economic data have provided the spark for Wall Street bulls, with stronger-than-expected manufacturing data out of the euro-zone lifting sentiment, while a contraction in manufacturing in China has sparked rumors that Beijing will hold off on tightening measures.

Het lijkt erop dat de natuur zich meer verzet tegen de mens, door klimaatverandering en bevolkings- en comnsumptietoename. Interessante materie.

Wat mij ook wel een prettig gevoel was , dat ik las dat Buffet een slecht jaar had. Te wijten aan resultaten op
derivaten. (hij zou toch niet short zijn gegaan?)
Het resultaat kwam 40% lager uit
De koers van het aandeel zakt 0,4 %

Dus die ouwe Buffet maakt ook eens een fout.
Maar blijkt zonder gevolgen.
Moet je kijken als Aegon morgen 40% minder winst rapporteert.
Sterker als een bedrijf nakomt wat het belooft (WKL) zakt het al 5%

Zou het zo zijn dat je sneller vergeven wordt als je ouder bent. Ik dacht altijd sneller vergeten of vergeetachtig

Hij heeft al lang geschreven puts dow 3000(of zoiets) lopen.Als je wel eens puts schrijft weet je hoe link dat kan uitpakken.

Yes: KdK, hoorde in auto op BNR (back from La Haya) dat hij nu zomaar als macro-econoom wordt betiteld? Zo!
Klinkt altijd beter dan financieel analist.
