Als iemand had beweerd in februari/maart van dit jaar dat KPN 15 mei op 1,68 zou staan, was hij acuut uitgelachen. Dus de huidige koers is eigenlijk belachelijk!

Verwarring alom en dat voor een aandeel wat jaren zo stabiel was.

Schande.

De enige redding is overname. En zelfs als dat zou gebeuren dan ook schande want overname zal gaan plaatsvinden voor veel te lage prijs.

Wat dacht je van Ad Scheepbouwer.

Die is binnengehaald als de verlosser voor KPN, maar van de 10 jaar dat hij daar de scepter zwaaide, waren de laatste 4 jaar van weinig groot gehalte, met gebrek aan fantasie en noodzakelijke innovatie, wat verdoezeld werd door het hoge dividend en de onbegrijpelijke dure eigen aandelen-inkoop, waar we nu als aandeelhouder een hele hoge prijs voor moeten betalen.
Kortom zakken vullen en voor het zingen de kerk uit, moet Scheepbouwer gedacht hebben.

AT&T Fascinated by Europe

AT&T Inc. Chief Executive Randall Stephenson made some of his most extensive comments yet about his increasingly publicized interest in turning the U.S. phone giant into a bigger player in Europe.

“I just find Europe fascinating right now,” Stephenson said Wednesday at a J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. investor conference in Boston. “One just has to ask that if somebody were to invest aggressively in mobile broadband in Europe would the demographic not lead to the same type of result as we have seen in the United States? And I believe fundamentally, yes, it will.”

Stephenson was saying that European consumers have similar spending patterns and demands to people in the U.S. But European wireless carriers have struggled to profit as heavily from the smartphone boom as AT&T and Verizon Wireless, in part because many European carriers have not built out advanced, LTE data networks and still rely heavily on fees for voice calls and text messages.

“The market is going to evolve in Europe,” Stephenson said. “As fast as it took off here, it will take off in Europe.”

The Journal first reported back in January that AT&T was mulling an acquisition of a wireless carrier in Europe. Stephenson acknowledged as much on Wednesday, but said finding something to buy was difficult.

“If there were opportunities, we would entertain it,” Stephenson said, referring to mergers and acquisitions in Europe. “It is a difficult place for that type of thing.”

Stephenson said that AT&T could also become a bigger player in Europe by introducing some of the technology it has developed for its home market that doesn’t require the company to actually provide wireless service. Stephenson gave the example of the new home monitoring and home security business that the company is rolling out in the United States.

“We are in the early formative stages here,” Stephenson said. “We think this is going to go fast, though.”

Ben benieuwd wat de huidige schrikkelkoers ( ja hier die weer ) gaat doen.
Herstellen richting de 1,80 zie ik wel tot de mogelijkheden behoren.

Hedgefund-manager David Tepper liet gisteren op CNBC een grafiek van de New York Fed zien, waaruit bleek dat aandelen vergeleken met obligaties zeer goedkoop zijn. Daarom zou het logisch zijn in aandelen te stappen. Ook al baart de hoge stand van de S&P 500 vele anderen juist zorgen.

Ben benieuwd wat de huidige schrikkelkoers ( ja hier die weer ) gaat doen.
Herstellen richting de 1,80 zie ik wel tot de mogelijkheden behoren.

Blijf gewoon lekker zitten in KPN, dit wordt een pracht aandeel met enorme potentie voor forse rendementen voor de komende jaren... ik, als Value Investor, heb diep vertrouwen in KPN... bij een eventuele verdere daling koop ik gefaseerd bij... :-)

p.s. heb kooporders limiet staan op 1.50, 1.40 en 1.30, weet niet of het ooit gehaald wordt, ik ben persoonlijk ook heel slecht in timing, maar 1 ding weet ik zeker en dat is dat KPN in de nabije toekomst een fors hogere koersen tegemoet gaat zien... geduld is the keyword :-)

Vodafone Reaches German Network Deal With Deutsche Telekom

Vodafone Group Plc (VOD) will gain access to Deutsche Telekom AG (DTE)’s high-speed fixed-line network, allowing the mobile-phone company to offer broadband and video services to customers in Germany.
Vodafone will be able to offer Internet speeds of 50 megabits per second and provide on-demand video and Internet-based television broadcasts, according to a statement today from the company.
European carriers are increasingly sharing networks to hold costs in check as they combat slowing sales amid an economic slump. Newbury, England-based Vodafone announced a similar deal with Telefonica SA (TEF)’s Orange in Spain this year as it works to roll out bundles of Internet, voice and TV service to customers across Europe.
“Our agreement with Deutsche Telekom will greatly enhance our ability to offer our German customers a range of competitive, high-speed broadband and TV services, in addition to our industry-leading mobile services, in line with our broader Europe-wide strategy,” Philip Humm, Vodafone’s head of Northern Europe, said in the statement.
German fixed-line Internet operators are trying to fend off competition from cable operators Kabel Deutschland Holding AG (KD8) and John Malone’s Liberty Global Inc. (LBTYA), which offer speeds exceeding 100 Mbps.
Deutsche Telekom, based in Bonn, last month received preliminary approval from the country’s network regulator for its plan to double the speed of its DSL lines to 100 Mbps in 24 million households. Today’s agreement with Vodafone helps the former phone monopoly spread the cost of the rollout.
