Posted: Tuesday 11th November 2014 (start in 2015)
Imtech Water, Waste and Energy (Imtech) has been appointed as part of the Southern Water Partnership to deliver up to £250 million of work during AMP 6, as part of a joint venture, GTM Atkins, with Galliford Try and Atkins.
Southern Water provides water and wastewater services to around 4.5 million people across the South East of England.
The framework will commence in 2015 and run until 2020, with an option to extend for a further five years to 2025. It will focus on the western half of Southern Water’s region, which is made up of West Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The majority of the work on the secured process lot will focus on water supply and wastewater treatment works.
Duncan Atkins, newly-appointed managing director at Imtech Water, Waste and Energy commented: “We are delighted to be working with Southern Water and look forward to bringing the combined knowledge and expertise of GTM Atkins joint venture to benefit Southern Water and its customers.”
