Het blijft een gokpaleis! Gezien het feit dat ze al sinds mensenheugenis bij de kwartaalresultaten teleurstellen..........wordt het statistisch gezien steeds waarschijnlijker dat de koers een keer gaat stijgen na een kwartaalpublicatie.

Heb ook nog steeds een zooitje aandelen maar dat is meer voor nostalgische redenen.

‘Kardan’s (‘Kardan’ or ‘the Company’) operating subsidiaries all contributed a positive result to the Company’s 2015 consolidated net result. However, this profitable contribution was more than off-set by an increase of EUR 41 mn in financing expenses totaling to EUR 60 mn in the year (2014: EUR 19 mn expenses). This significant increase arose predominantly from adverse foreign exchange rate movements on the Company’s Israeli Shekel (‘NIS’) denominated debentures. As a result, despite the positive contributions of the operating subsidiaries, Kardan is reporting a consolidated net loss of EUR 22.9 mn in 2015 (2014: EUR 5.1 mn profit). In Q4 2015 alone, financing expenses amounted to EUR 16.7 mn (Q4 2014: EUR 2.5 mn income). Q4 2015 resulted in a net consolidated loss of EUR 18.1 mn (2014 EUR 16.5 mn profit).

Kwartaal 4 2015 maar liefst 18.1 mio verlies.....en dan noemden sommigen mij negatief, soepkip etc etc....
Mijn voorspelling was 9.2 mio verlies en het is dus nog vele malen slechter. Ik was dus eigenlijk zelfs een positivo.

Erg zorgwekkend is verder dat in kwartaal 4 2015 een lagere omzet is geboekt dan in kwartaal 2 respectievelijk kwartaal 3. Dit terwijl de aan de verkoop gekoppelde selling expenses stegen.
Dit heeft dus per saldo in kwartaal 4 2015 een negatieve marge opgeleverd! In jip en janneke taal: vanaf kwartaal 4 worden er meer kosten gemaakt om hun diensten te verkopen dan dat de zelf diensten opbrengen! Dit is een zorgwekkend omslagpunt in met name hun core business onroerend goed China! Dit hele belangrijke gegeven wordt helaas niet vermeldt in de toelichting!

Verder kopieer ik onderstaande alinea uit hun publicatie. Nog niet eerder hebben ze zo nadrukkelijk opgeschreven waar ik hier eerder voor gewaarschuwd heb! Tijd gekocht voor onderhandelingen om onderdelen te kunnen verkopen zodat die arme bondholders wel hun volledige centjes gaan krijgen! Het hele bedrijf is zowat verpand aan hun. Aandeelhouders bloeden weer eens!

Ik wens vandaag de kleine aandeelhouder veel sterkte maar helaas, ben erg bang voor het koersverloop vandaag en voor de toekomst van Kardan!

Hahah lache met jou....bedrijf draait nu goed, alleen die wisselkoers doet ze de nek om en waarom ze dat niet opsplitsen begrijp ik niet in

Looking back on 2015, the agreement which we came to with our Debenture Holders mid-year was a significant milestone, giving us additional time to generate cash to fulfil our obligations to them in the coming years albeit at a price of a higher interest rate and the provision of collaterals, among other things. We also successfully sold KWIG, our water infrastructure company in China, of which we completed the first phase (75%) at the beginning of 2015 and we are due to complete the second phase in the coming months. The sale of KWIG, with a transaction value of approximately EUR 86 mn, contributed a gain of EUR 20 mn to our 2015 results. Moreover, we recently announced that we have signed an agreement to sell TBIF, holding our banking and retail banking activities – pending certain conditions precedent - for an initial consideration of approximately EUR 69 mn.

2015 was an important year for Kardan Land China. In August, the shopping mall of our, award winning new, large Europark project, Galleria Dalian, opened its doors offering its visitors a meeting place for entertainment, leisure and shopping and connected to a brand new subway. For the full year 2015 therefore, a significant EUR 20.9 mn fair value adjustment could be recognized with respect to the mall. In addition, Building B of the Europark project was sold. Although the façade, core and shell of the building was completed, the entire interior needs to be constructed according to the buyer’s specifications to make it a high quality apartment hotel, and therefore we expect the handover to take place in the fourth quarter 2017. Kardan Land China did, however, receive 50% of the transaction value which it is using to further develop the Europark project. During 2015 we saw an increase in sale contracts for the residential apartments of our joint venture projects. Moreover, significantly more apartments were handed over during 2015 than in the previous year.

Our water infrastructure subsidiary Tahal reported a larger (y-o-y) profit from continuing operations in 2015, albeit at lower margins on a different mix of projects. The results were also impacted by a one-off charge relating to the early repayment of a loan following the sale of KWIG and by the strong USD and NIS versus the Euro. The decrease of the global oil price and its impact on budgets of some countries which consequently postponed a number of planned projects affected Tahal as a few of the many tender proposals outstanding were delayed.

The future is likely to continue to be challenging for Kardan, as we continue to face the task of repayment of the still substantial amount of outstanding debentures and the forex exposure risk they pose. Kardan heeft in 2015 verlies geleden. Dit bleek donderdag voorbeurs uit de kwartaalcijfers van het Israëlische investeringsvehikel met een notering op het Damrak.

Op een omzet van 216,1 miljoen euro boekte Kardan een verlies van 22,9 miljoen euro. Een jaar eerder realiseerde Kardan nog een winst van 5,1 miljoen euro.

Operationeel boekte de investeerder afgelopen jaar wel zwarte cijfers. Voor financieringskosten, die met maar liefst 41 miljoen euro opliepen tot 60 miljoen euro, en belastingen verdiende Kardan 23,2 miljoen euro. Aan dit operationele resultaat droegen alle onderdelen positief bij. De opgelopen financieringskosten waren volgens Kardan voor liefst 33 miljoen euro een gevolg van wisselkoerseffecten.

CEO Shouky Oren van Kardan stelde nog altijd vertrouwen te hebben dat de operationele activiteiten zullen verbeteren en herhaalde dat de onderneming de terugbetalingsverplichtingen aan zijn schuldeisers volledig zal nakomen. De topman noemde de halverwege 2015 gesloten overeenkomst met de schuldeisers een "significante mijlpaal", die Kardan extra tijd geeft om aan zijn verplichtingen te voldoen in de komende jaren, "zij het tegen een prijs".

Ook haalde Oren in een toelichting zijn vorige week aangekondigde vertrek aan en wees er op dat zijn opvolger, Ariel Hasson, van Kardan Financial Services de afgelopen jaren weer een winstgevende activiteit wist te maken.

Even kort samen gevat, bedrijf draait goed maar heeft last gehad van wisselkoers en lage olieprijs (welk bedrijf niet)

Bedankt Butterfly dat je inderdaad de waarschuwing aan het adres vd aandeelhouders nog eens extra inkopieerd! Wie nu nog niet begrijpt dat het dus alleen maar gaat om de bondholders die is echt niet goed wijs!

Klopt, maar zonder de bondhouders had Kardan er al niet meer geweest.
En die hebben blijkbaar ook het vertrouwen erin dat het goed komt
anders hadden ze nooit onderhandeld.

@Butterfly: die bondholders zijn er al heel lang en de aandeelhouders ook. Echter bondholders hebben een betere positie omdat het maar een paar zijn. Die drukken hun wil er doorheen. Als zij hadden vastgehouden aan de oorspronkelijke re-payment schedules dan was Kardan inderdaad al om zeep geweest. Dus zo stom zijn ze niet geweest om daar aan vast te houden. Zij hebben Kardan 4 jaar tijd gegeven om alles zonder tijdsdruk te kunnen verkopen zodat zij DE BONDHOLDERS hun centen plus rente terugkrijgen. En zoals Shouky zelf schrijft "at a cost"....!!!

Verder kun je zelf achterhalen dat Kardan Land 4 mio verlies operationeel heeft gemaakt in kwartaal 4 en Water INfra slechts 0.2 mio winst!!!

Hun core businesses waarmee NB de komende jaren de rentes en aflossingen mee afbetaald zouden moeten worden draaien zelfs operationeel verlies!
