Federale rechter stelt Trump in het ongelijk.
Trump heeft de wet overtreden door het geld bestemd voor het Pentagon(leger) te gebruiken om de muur te bouwen.
Trump zou ten onrechte beroep hebben gedaan op zijn national emergency.

Trump heeft nog wel de mogelijkheid in hoger beroep te gaan.

Ik zag toch net een smerig filmpje over Trump dat vertoond werd in Mar a Logo waarin Trump iedereen overhoop schiet.

Volgens mij heb je dat weggehaald luchtschip.
Waarom verspreidt je zulke onzin.

WASHINGTON (AFN) - President Donald Trump zet plannen voor hogere invoertarieven voor producten van Chinese makelij voorlopig in de ijskast. De Amerikaan beloofde in een bericht op Twitter dat hij afziet van het ophogen van de tarieven van 25 naar 30 procent. Daarover werd voor het weekend al gespeculeerd.

Eigenlijk zouden de invoertarieven in twee stappen worden verhoogd, te beginnen per 15 oktober. De VS bereikte vrijdag een gedeelde overeenkomst met China. Daar moet nog wel een formeel een handtekening onder worden gezet.

Onderdeel van de afspraken is dat China meer landbouwproducten uit de VS koopt. Daar wordt volgens de Amerikaan direct werk van gemaakt door Peking.

Het is tijdig weggehaald dus heb het niet verspreid.
Het was 1 melding. Na plaatsing heb ik gecheckt of er ook andere sites waren die hier melding van maakten.
Die vond ik niet. Dus heb ik het verwijderd.

A crude video meme depicting President Donald Trump gunning down political foes and media organizations inside a church was shown this weekend during a far-right conference held at the president’s Doral resort, according to the New York Times.

The Times reported Sunday night that the video — a clip edited to insert Trump into a scene from the 2014 movie Kingsman: The Secret Service — ran at some point during the American Priority Festival held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Trump National Doral. Listed speakers included Donald Trump Jr., former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The video, which can be found on YouTube, depicts Trump inside the “Church of Fake News,” shooting, beating and stabbing congregants with the logos of Vox, Politico, CNN and other media outlets emblazoned over their faces. He also shoots MSNBC personality Rachel Maddow and U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, the Democratic chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Beijing wants to send Vice Premier Liu He, China's top trade negotiator, to Washington as soon as the end of October to finalize a deal that can be signed next month at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference next month in Chile, Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

William Barr warns of 'militant' secularism in speech about declining religious values

Attorney General William Barr said declining religious values and the loss of the “traditional moral order” is causing many of society’s ills.

Speaking at the University of Notre Dame Law School Friday, Barr said that because of a “moral upheaval” there has been an increase in drug use, children born out of wedlock, and people being alienated.

“The campaign to destroy the traditional moral order has coincided and I believe has brought with it immense suffering and misery. And yet the forces of secularism, ignoring these tragic results, press on with even greater militancy,” the attorney general said.

Barr, 69, is a devout Catholic. During the speech, he touched on efforts by the Justice Department to assist faith-based organizations that fight for religious liberty. He also warned about the “progressive” movement in U.S. politics.

“Among the militant secularists are many so-called progressives. But where is the progress?” Barr wondered. “Those who defy the creed risk a figurative burning at the stake: social, educational, and professional ostracism and exclusion waged through lawsuits and savage social media campaigns.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Businessmen with ties to Rudy Giuliani lobbied a U.S. congressman in 2018 for help ousting the American ambassador to Ukraine around the same time they committed to raising money for the lawmaker.

An indictment unsealed Thursday identified the lawmaker only as “Congressman 1.” But the donations described in the indictment match campaign finance reports for former Rep. Pete Sessions, a Texas Republican who lost his re-election bid in November 2018.

On May 9, 2018, Parnas posted a photo of himself and his business partner David Correia with Sessions in his Capitol Hill office, with the caption “Hard at work !!”

Later that same day, Sessions sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo seeking Yovanovitch’s dismissal because he had “notice of concrete evidence” that she had “spoken privately and repeatedly about her disdain for the current Administration.”

Campaign finance records show Parnas and Fruman later contributed $2,700 apiece to Session’s campaign, the maximum allowed individual contribution.

Sessions said Thursday that he will vigorously defend himself against any allegations of wrongdoing.

Campaign finance:

FEC Chair Ellen Weintraub says the charges against two associates of President Trump's personal lawyer for scheming to funnel foreign money to U.S. politicians are “just the tip of the iceberg.”

“There may well be a lot of money that is slipping into our system that we just don’t know about,” Weintraub said in a Friday interview.
And the question of whether Trump acted inappropriately by pressuring the Ukrainian government to investigate 2020 political rival Joe Biden is at the core of the House's impeachment inquiry.

But the FEC is effectively paralyzed: The agency in charge of enforcing campaign finance laws has not been able to conduct any formal business since the departure of its Republican vice chair in August. It needs a quorum to function — and Trump has yet to appoint a fourth commissioner. Weintraub, a Democrat who has chaired the commission three times since her 2002 appointment by President George W. Bush, is very concerned — and says voters should be, too.

Volgens bronnen rond haar zal zij verklaren dat
Rudy Giuliani, Trump's persoonlijke advocaat, en US Ambassadeur voor de EU, Gordon Sondland, het US Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken probeerden te omzeilen. Zij creëerden een schaduw buitenland politiek met Oekraine. Hierbij werd het Min van BuZa en ambassadrice Fiona Hill uitgeschakeld.

Zij is ontslagen als US Ambassadrice voor Oekraine.
Zij zou , in besloten zitting, gezegd hebben dat haar ontslag een voorwaarde was om twee Soviet born business associates vrij te kunnen laten werken. De twee wilden in de board of directors komen van een groot Oekrains staats gas distributie bedrijf. En dan LNG verschepingen (ca 100 p/jaar) vanuit de US naar Okraine verzorgen.
De twee zijn nu gearresteerd en worden aangeklaagd voor campaign finance violations.

Zal donderdag getuigen bij het House Committee ook in besloten zitting.
Sondland is de US Ambassadeur voor de EU.
Men verwacht dat hij zal verklaren dat hij niet wist waarom de militaire hulp, die toegezegd was door het Congress aan Oekraine (ad $ 250 miljoen), werd tegengehouden door Trump.

Verwacht wordt dat Sondland zal verklaren dat hij "vertrouwde" op Trump's toezegging dat er geen Quid pro Quo (voor wat, hoort wat) was met betrekking tot het onderzoek van Oekraine naar vader en zoon Biden, aangaande een conspiracy theory rond de 2016 presidents verkiezing.

Economists across academic and policymaking institutions have produced a number of different estimates of the impact that changes in trade policy since the start of 2018 have had on the U.S. economy. The lowest estimates involve only the direct incidence of the new taxes on consumers.

The highest estimates include the direct costs of the tariffs, costs related to distortions the tariffs generate in firm and household behavior, and the drag on firm activity that increased uncertainty about trade policy has brought.

Taking the full range of estimates into account, the new trade policy regime implemented in 2018 through June 2019 is likely to result in an average cost per U.S. household between $500 and $1,700 a year.

Matt Gaetz emerges from closed-door interview with Fiona Hill saying he was kicked out by House Democrats bc he’s not a member of the three committees conducting the interview. He said he consulted with the House parliamentarian, who ruled that he could not be there.

De Amerikaanse president Donald Trump kwam superlatieven tekort voor het principe-akkoord dat zijn onderhandelaars vrijdag in Washington met de Chinezen hadden gesloten. Een paar dagen later slaat de twijfel toe. Komt de deal er wel?
