Bam appoints new frameworks director
11 December, 2018
Bam has replaced Keith Rayner as frameworks director with Karen Davenport joining the firm.
Ms Davenport (pictured, second from right, front) has held roles at firms including Galliford Try as project director, Capita as a director, and Interserve, leading on areas including winning work, frameworks, public private partnerships and PFIs.
She started her career in project management working for the NHS.
She replaces Keith Rayner who made a surprise move to McLaren earlier this year.
Mr Rayner had been with Bam for more than 20 years before his departure.
Bam chief executive James Wimpenny had told C onstruction News earlier this year the company would move on through the strength of the team in place, but indicated that Mr Rayner would be replaced.
He said: “Public sector frameworks and alliances are well suited to Bam's collaborative and integrated approach, bringing specialist knowledge and new ways of working to our clients”.
