De Japanse volksmentaliteit :
Masking is our way of showing kindness to others.
Mensen die pertinent tegen het dragen van mondkapjes zijn vertonen een laag respect voor het sociale vertrouwen in de maatschappij
Japanse Risa Hoshino, MD, Board-Certified Pediatrician in Public Health | Vaccine Expert :
I never understood why masks are so stigmatized here in the U.S. I’m from Japan where we have been regularly masking since before the pandemic—when feeling a tickle in our throats, during flu season, on crowded trains, etc. Masking is our way of showing kindness to others.
reactie Ashan Rangappa, lawyer :
Masks are a reflection of social trust in society -- in Tocqueville's words, "self-interest well understood." It's the ability to make a small sacrifice that benefits the public good, and in doing so, benefits you, as well.
The U.S. currently has very low levels of social trust
