That is true, but I feel the other investments are too small now.
For example Udemy went for IPO, and it is about 2b usd market cap, prosus hold I guess about 15%, except the money we putin, then the profit is so small compared with tencent 150b stake.
Apparently the market doesn't want to pay for the small startups through prosus, I think you need to think these 3 qustions:
1. Do you believe the food delivery, edutech, fintech are good sectors, do you believe there will be huge growth ? Do you want to invest these companies directly ?
2. Whether the startups we invested are the leader in that field and how big the whole market will be , is it high tech? does it have high margin? can it do anything other company can't?
3. How long does it take ? are 10 years enough ? You know 10 euros cash worth more than 10euros after 10 years ?
So there is no short term opptunity, if I like the growth stock, I just buy it from US, there are so many promising companies which already show some signs of success, if It 10X then I earn 10X profit, with prosus, even we have a few good IPO, I don't think the stock price could be boosted easily.
