(ABM FN-Dow Jones) Op Wall Street zijn vrijdag alle acht AEX-genoteerde fondsen ten opzichte van het slot in Amsterdam lager gesloten. ING wist het verlies met een daling van 0,1 procent het meest te beperken. Aegon was met een verlies van 0,8 procent de sterkste daler.

ASML (-0,7%)
ING Groep (-0,2%)
Philips (-0,1%)
RELX (-0,2%)
Shell (-0,6%)
Unilever (-0,5%)

Euro/dollar: 1,0802

Op basis van de bovenstaande koersuitslagen zou de AEX index, die sloot op 923,71 punten, zijn geëindigd op 921,11 punten.

overmorgen betaald arcelor mittal z'n dividend uit,

vorige week zat ik bij de boekhouder en kwam de dividend belasting ter sprake, 15% dividend belasting wordt er bij arcelor geheven.

de boekhouder die geeft aan de hand van de jaaropgave van de saxobank aan hoeveel dividend belasting er is geheven, dat geeft die op en wordt zo in mindering gebracht op de belasting aanslag , 1 op 1
weet iemand waarom ze het dan heffen? als je het 1 op 1 terug krijgt, en wanneer krijg je bijvoorbeeld niet terug

De boekhouder doet helemaal niets (behalve geld van jou vangen ;-). Alles wordt rechtstreeks door Saxo aan de belastingdienst aangeleverd, die het vervolgens keurig invult in jouw vooraf ingevulde belastingaangifte.

Nederlanders kunnen buitenlandse dividendbelasting met hun box3 vermogensbelasting verrekenen, buitenlanders vaak niet. Je mag dus blij zijn met dit fiscale stelsel.

Je had nog iets aan de kosten van je boekhouder gehad als je die vraag aan haar/hem had gesteld......maar grote kans dat je dan een extra factuur zou krijgen!

Assofermet: EU’s safeguard measure revision jeopardizes European manufacturing industry

Assofermet, the association representing Italian distributors of scrap, raw materials and steel products, has expressed its opposition to the European Union's revision of its safeguard measures in a press release published on June 7.

According the association, the decision to extend the measures until the end of June 2026, coupled with the introduction of a 15 percent cap on HRC imports from “other “countries” puts European steel-consuming sectors such as automotive, construction, mechanical engineering and manufacturing at risk. In fact, Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, and Egypt - which in 2023 alone exported a total of 3.9 million mt of HRC to the EU - are part of the "other countries" quota. With the implementation of the 15 percent cap this flow would stop at 2.26 million tons, eliminating about 1.63 million tons of imported steel - this is what emerges from a projection of the year 2024 realized by the association. This would have a major impact on the entire manufacturing industry, which is “already grappling with a worrying consumption crisis” and this would finally generate a steel shortage in the European Union, which, together with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) would cause a general price hike, according to Assofermet.

“This is the worst scenario we could have expected from the extension of the safeguard measures,” Paolo Sangoi, president of Assofermet Acciai, commented. "Maintaining the safeguard for another 24 months implies an overlap with the CBAM, destined to generate de facto double taxation. If we add to this the various changes that the Commission envisages, Assofermet's position can only be firmly against its final approval.

Uitgifte op 17 juni.

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) ArcelorMittal geeft op 17 juni twee obligatietranches van elk 500 miljoen dollar uit. Dit maakte de staalreus dinsdagochtend bekend.

Voor de obligatie die op 17 juni 2034 afloopt geldt een coupon van 6,00 procent en van 6,35 procent voor de lening die afloopt op 17 juni 2054.

De plaatsing van de obligaties wordt naar verwachting op maandag 17 juni afgerond.

De verwachte netto-opbrengst van circa 989,3 miljoen dollar wordt voor algemene doeleinden gebruikt, aldus de onderneming dinsdag.

Geld uitgeven aan een inkoopprogramma en dan blijkbaar toch extern geld moeten aantrekken.
Zijn ook behoorlijke rentes en daar moet je dan ook nog winstgevende activiteiten mee kunnen uitvoeren.

ArcelorMittal México, a subsidiary of the global steel giant ArcelorMittal, has found itself entangled in a legal battle with a group of unionized workers from one of its Mexican units. The workers, belonging to Section 271 of the Mining Union, have been blocking the entrances to a mining area and a blast furnace in the western Mexican state of Michoacan since May 24, 2023. The workers' actions stem from their belief that there has been a poor distribution of profits within the company.
