The indices aren't doing much, but there is some strong action in small-cap China stocks, solar energy, metals and golds. Traders are maintaining a good level of aggressiveness under the surface, and that certainly is a healthy sign. It is when the hot-money speculators back off and go into hibernation -- like they did for much of last year -- that we really feel the pain of a bear market. I'm not sure the bear market is over, but we have had a return of active and aggressive trading in the past month or so. Some of the small-cap China names that are on my radar screen that I'm actively trading include Asiainfo , E-House (China) Holdings , AgFeed , Yingli Green Energy and Shanda Interactive.
